All this ado about What? Why move the Benton County Seat to Kennewick?

The County Seat move is nothing more than a personal agenda item for an old man that has nothing better to do. In these days of electronic media capabilities, the location of the County Seat has no particular significance aside from some outdated law requiring the Commissioners to meet at the "County Seat." It would be much easier/cheaper to revise the law.

If we could convince the county commissioners to put up a bronze bust of Fred for his years of service, I'm sure he would drop this whole thing. In other words, this is Fred's last chance to write a page in history.

its funny to drive around Prosser and see all the vote no's for the move of the county seat, it seems people feel pretty strongly about it, or they are just jumping on the band wagon. who knows...
