First Presbyterian Church
Market Street Kids starts back up today! This ministry is for ages kindergarten-fifth grade, 3:30-7 p.m.
Each week we study and grow in fellowship, worship, Bible study and family meal time. Registration required by parent/guardian. The annual “home-made, ready-for-your-freezer, Apple Pies” fund-raiser takes place Oct. 9-10. Cost is $7 each or three pies for $20. Proceeds are distributed in numerous ways from scholarships for women, young and “matured,” attending Christian leadership conferences, to donations to our local Jubilee Ministries Food Bank.
Looking ahead….Sunday, Oct. 18, “Faith in Action.” A special worship service time will take place in the evening at 5:30 p.m. where we will come together in thanksgiving after the day’s participation in the World Vision, Outreach nation-wide “Faith in Action” campaign. A baked potato meal will take place in the Fellowship Hall following the evening worship service. Call the church office for more information on this and many other ministries at First Presbyterian Church at 786-1594.
